This is the first book of a series, and it is amazing. Ms. Macias does an amazing job, of bringing her readers into a fantasy world, but makes it all seem real, yes she is that talented an author. I urge you to start this series, it is a real roller coaster ride, and has something for everyone. Happy reading!

Rhett’s cell vibrates, he looks down at the screen.
Rossi is coming after Napolitano’s daughter as a reward. We need to get her out of there. See the image, name Isabelle Napolitano, 22 years old, and doesn’t have a clue about the business.

The image pops up on the cell.
Rhett gazes at the photo of Belle. His cold turquoise eyes soften as he stares at her.
Fuck! My Belle is Napolitano’s daughter? Damn! It is a small world. Rossi wants my woman? Hell no! I have to find her. She has to be here in the house and if not? Fuck! I’m going to protect her. She’s mine!
Belle walks into the office, stops, stunned.
“What? How in the world did you find me?”
Belle stares at Rhett, feeling happy and scared.
Who is he? He’s my Rhett? No! This is too bizarre. Something is going on! I need to get to the bottom of this. I’m going crazy with not knowing what’s happening with my family!
“Belle, you know who I am. It’s very important to trust me. We need to leave, now.”
“What? I’m so confused. You’re here to take me? Who are you?”
“Belle, don’t run from me. I’m here to help you. I’m an Elite. Please believe me.”
“Who? An Elite? What does that mean? I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
Rhett takes a step forward, trying to reach her, and pull her close.
Fuck! She’s so damn scared. She doesn’t trust me. That cuts deeply. Fuck she doesn’t know anything about her father’s business.
“Belle, I’m here to protect you. Please, take my hand. I’ll explain everything later.”
Belle starts taking small steps back, wide-eyed, watching him closely. She shakes her head, gasping.
“No!”
Omg! He’s one of them? He’s here to take me? Where? Did they kill my Papà? The man that stole my heart, owns my soul killed my Papà! Why? What do they want?
Rhett takes another step forward, the cell dings, and he looks at it.
Napolitano’s guards don’t know what happened. They will stay to protect the residence.
Ok.
Rhett looks up at Belle, takes another step and sprints forward, taking her into his arms.
She’s pissed off. She’s scared. She doesn’t want to listen to me. What the fuck! She doesn’t trust me. She doesn’t know or understands who I am.
“Belle, we need to leave. The rogue Lord wants you.”
Belle pushes against his hard chest, glaring up at him. Her haunted hazel eyes blink rapidly to stop the tears. She inhales deeply, shaking her head, pushing her hands against his shoulders.
“I don’t understand what you’re talking about! What about my Papà? We can’t leave him. I need to bury him.”
She’s fucking scared. I need to connect with her. I can’t lose her, she’s mine.
Rhett moves his hand up, and holds her neck, gazing into her glazed eyes.
“Baby, please calm down. I’m not the bad guy here. I’m here to protect you and your brothers.”
Belle’s eyes roam back and forth, searching for the truth in his soft turquoise eyes.
“You’re serious? You want me to just leave, when my Papà has been killed and I don’t fucking know why? I don’t know where my brothers are at! The man that I want is here, out of the blue, telling me that I’m in danger! What the fuck am I supposed to believe!”
Huge tears roll down her cheeks, her face is pale, and her lower lip trembles.
Rhett pulls her closer into his arms, moving his hands up her and down her back to keep her warm.
“Baby, I’m your man. Trust me. I know that you’re scared but I promise you that I’m here to protect you and your family.”
Rhett kisses her forehead holding her tight.
Belle closes her eyes tight, starts to melt into him, giving in.
Omg! What should I do? Trust my heart or do what my Papà instructed. Not to trust anyone! But Rhett is not anyone, he’s my man. I know he is my soul.
